Hello pups and kitties and humans and everyone else.....♥
It has been a while since human Granny has posted on my blog...:'( She has been so busy with supporting 'Child Abuse Awareness' and 'Animal Abuse Awareness' and 'The Chicagoland Puggle Group' on Meetup.com and 'Brittany Transport' she hasn't had much time to blog for me. Well we are back with a vengeance. JK! Snicker! Snicker! I have been busy chasing the kitties, tearing up human Granny's socks, and barking at the squirrels on the patio to keep them off our outside space.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012!

It started out bad but with hope and faith and a lot of prayer I think it will get better. Human Granny has been reading all your old post to me. I have a lot to catch up on. I see Preston Puggle has a new 'Baby human Brother' and he is so cute, as humans go I personally like canines looks better...Snicker! Snicker! Human Granny thinks he is the cutest human baby she has seen in a while: Puggle Lainey & Puggle Autumn & Chloe had a very successful 'Secret Santa 2011': I see 'Tank' has taken his first plane ride...and was very nervous about it: Puggle Coco got a lot of new toys.....well I will have to fill you in later on the rest when human Granny gets a minute. CANDLELIGHT VIGIL FOR THE 100+ SLED DOGS MURUDERED IN CANADA BC...ADVENTURE #59

What a Great Adventure I had on 4/23/2011! First human Granny had to make plans for the 'Candlelight Vigil for the 100+ Sled Dogs' murdered in Canada BC. She was busy planning and getting copies and getting candles and permission for the event. Thanks to the Blue Island Park District for letting us use their facilities, on a last minute notice. Thanks for the humans that came out. Thanks to the organizers of this Great Cause, and thanks to the beautiful weather. Pups were 'Howelling' all over the world. What a Barking Great time I had. Even a few pups with their humans who just came to the dog park at random stayed and joined in. We wore 'Red Ribbons' to make others aware of the 'Animal Cruelty Laws' in Canada and how they need to be changed. Human Granny got the word out as best she could. Petitions were signed and a short but sweet speech was said but she could not hold on at the end the water started falling from her eyes.... But all in all it was for a Great cause and we would do it again. We have to have the humans be out voices' sometimes, cuz some humans just don't want to understand us. Thanks to them all! Easter Egg Hunt at P.A.W.S. Tinley Park, IL Adventure #58

What a Great Adventure this was! On Saturday 4/16/2011 human Granny took me to this Great place with eggs all over (see pics) and they had treats in them. They also had little paper dots in them to and for each one I found inside the egg I got a toy. I liked the treats better...Snicker! Snicker! We gave a $10.00 donation and for a little more I got my picture taken with the 'Easter Bunny' whoever that is BOL! It rained but we went anyway. I was so interested by all the eggs it did not matter that we got all wet. We had a Barking Great time and helped the animals too at the Tinley Park IL P.A.W.S. Bella the Brittany Pup's Journey to her Furever Home! Adventure #57

I had a wonderful adventure yesterday. Let me start from the beginning....Well human Granny has been wanting to do more for the 'Homeless and Helpless' pets, so she spends time a lot on facebook.com [and forgets about my blog ;( ] so she can see if she can help to transport a pup or kitty or whatever to a forever home. On Thursday night she seen that a pup needed to get to her home and they needed one more leg to get her there. Well it just so happened that it was not so far from our home and human Granny knew just where the place was to take her to the next leg (person doing the transfer). So she wrote on someones wall 'I'll do it!' and Adventure #57 was on! She made arrangements with the lady organizer and then got in contact with the person that was the leg before us. She got permission for me to go too! Human Papa is taking care of his parents in Joliet IL USA (human Papa's Mommy and Popie are in from Texas USA for medical reasons) on Saturdays so I did not have anyone to watch me for the whole day. We waited for the call from the human girl and then we met her at Doubletree Hotel where she transferred to us, Bella. She was so cute (see pictures) and we called our next leg and then called human Papa and then finally we were on our way. I was so good and did not growl at her I did Bark a little. She was a little nervous but human Granny put her in the front seat with her and buckled her in and petted her soft head. After a bit she settled in and went to sleep and slept the whole trip. Except when she heard my nose trying to smell her at the side of the seat. I was a very good Puggle Pup and I did not show any aggressions to this baby Bella. We got off the Tollway in South Bend and went to another hotel called the Inn at Saint Mary's . Then human Granny got out with her. I was surprised. She seemed like she wanted back in the car with human Granny when the human lady was taking her to their car after a short walk. They got in her car (the other humans transporters' car) with my Bella and drove off. I sniffed everywhere but she was nowhere to be found. We had a early dinner and then back to Chicago we went. O I forgot to mention that I did take my Puggle Attitude out on the toll guys...Snicker! Snicker! Thanks human Granny for not having a IPass....BOL! Well all went well and human Granny was so proud of herself for doing such a good deed for the pup. Bless you and Please Remember the Animals in Japan.

Human Granny got out of the car with Bella and I thought she was just going to walk her but she came back without her. I was sniffing all over but she was gone....

I looked back to see her driving away with the new humans to take her on the rest of her Journey and find her forever human Mommy & human Daddy.....

As we drove back home to Chicago IL USA human Granny was shedding a few Happy *tears* and was talking to the sky. I guess she said a prayer for Bella? She does that a lot, talks to the sky.

We have been keeping our paws and fingers crossed that these pups were rescued. Hello my blogger human friends and fur friends and everyone else! I hope all is well in your world. It has been a while since my human Granny has made a post. For Shame! BOL! I have been kept busy with many 'Meet-ups' in the area. I had a bout with some potty problems (going too much) but I am doing well these days but very sad. The events of 3/11/2011 in Japan have devastated the people of Japan and human Granny has been crying for three days. I wanted to let everyone know that the animals are devastated too. We need to do something to help out! Here is a link to help them out.

A Day with Santa P.A.W.S in Tinley Adventure #56

What a Great time I had visiting Santa Paws at the P.A.W.S. no kill rescue in Tinley Park, IL. (Sorry yes human Granny is way behind on my post Snicker! Snicker!) Hey I thought he lived in the North Pole....BOL! Human Granny and human Mommy and human Papa and I got ready and I wore my new sweater to sit on his lap and get my picture made. He acted kinda scared of me at first Puggle energy I guess! But human Granny assured him that I was all play and no bite. I just wanted to see what was hiding in that white beard. BOL! We got a wish list before we went home and a cute picture of me with Santa Paws. Yes it was a fun Adventure. We all went home and I enjoyed some treats and human Mommy and human Granny was so proud of me cuz I sat so nice for my picture. Do you think it worked? Be good get more gifts...Snicker! Snicker! Well 'Merry Christmas' to all and to all a good day. 'Happy Holidays' to my Jewish pups and kitties. Hope Santa Paws is very good to you. Please remember all the Homeless Pets this Season. And remember you can still give to my 'First Giving' for the Seniors to have a Happily Ever After in a home.

Wow did I have a Great Howl-O-Ween this year! On 10/30/2010, it was quite a Adventure! First thanks for the votes for the costume my blogger furfriends. Human Granny went with the 'Spider Witch'. First we went downtown to the fund raiser for the 'Anti Cruelty Society' Howl-O-Ween pawty. Great place and lots of pups to play with. I really just keep all the pups in check. No going in the tunnel for me. I also like to Greet all the humans coming in. Snicker! Snicker! After we were done we drove over (well human Granny did the driving) to Lainey & Autumn & Chloe's house to pick up my treats and some for Puggle Sandy too. After we got to Puggle Sandy's house and seen all the Boo-Ti-Full decorations her (Puggle Sandy's) human Mommy put up we went in. My humans ate and us Puggles played and had fun. I showed Puggle Sandy how I can catch a ball when human Granny bounces it to me. Then we can home. On 10/31/2010 human Granny dressed me up and let me get into my Tricks-Or-Treats bag. Young @ Heart Pet Rescue 'Mutt Mosey Fund Raiser' Adventure #54

Wow! what a Great Adventure I had with human Granny and human Papa today! It was our Young @ Heart Pet Rescue, 'Mutt Mosey's Fund Raiser! Human Granny worked hard trying to raise money but we did get 10% of her goal and that is good (she said). We started out and human Granny told human Papa to get a jacket it was going to be bad weather. Human Granny made sure to get me and her one. He said he did not need it. Dog-gone-it he was wrong. It RAINED all the time we were at the Fund Raiser. Glad human Granny remembered to bring 2 umbrellas.

Human Papa decided to go and get a umbrella...Snicker!

The 'Walk' got started a little late with the rain and all, but it was still a Barking! Great time. Human Papa and I did our walk around the pond and we can in first place. Then human Granny got me a 'Raffle Ticket' and it won me a 'Dog Gone Great' prize.

Human Granny picked out the prize for me. I made a lot of new furfriends and met some old one too from last year. As you can see I had to check out the bottom of the garbage can first for some 'tit-bits' then greet the furfriends...Snicker! Snicker!

A few snacks for the pups and the humans and a 'Pet Rock' contest and some great music and all was a Big Success!

Thanks to my Wonderful Blogger friends that donated and Thanks to all that cheered us on. In all over $9,500. was raised and that is a very Great thing.

My First Vacation Adventure #53

Well this was the Best Labor Day I have ever had. Human Granny and human Papa took me on a mini vacation. We went to Indiana USA and got a hotel in Chesterton, IN for 3 nights. It was a real Great Adventure! All I wanted to do when we first got to our room late Friday September 3, 2010, was play. The bed was very big to run across with my ball. Human Granny wanted to sleep because she knew we had to be up very early to have breakfast and get ready for the days activities.

So off to sleep we went. Early Saturday September 4, 2010 morning we were up for breakfast. I read my paper had some bottled water, and waited for human Granny to get my food. I was very patient and that is real hard for me.....Snicker! Snicker!
We got on the road and had to go to three beaches before we found a dog beach. No swimming at any of the beaches because of the 'Rip Tide' whatever that is....BOL!

I must admit the waves were very big for a little Puggle like me. I stayed behind human Papa for a bit before I decided to go in and try the water out. We did not have a lifeguard so no one told us not to swim. But human Granny rather be safe than sorry so we all just waded in a little.
On Sunday September 5, 2010 we checked the internet (well human Granny did), and we found a Great dog park just over at Michigan City, IN. It was Barking Great! A large area with stuff to do and I made a few FurFriend right when we got there.
We stay a long while at the 'Bark Park' and then back to the hotel to get some rest. I was sure dog tired. But it was a Great mini vacation for me. I am so blessed to have human Granny and human Papa in my life!

Last Pool Party of Summer 2010 Adventure #52

My it is HOT in Chicago, IL USA. Yesterday human Granny and human Papa took me to my last 2010 Summer Pool Party with the 'West Loop Dog Group' Meet-Up. I had a Barking Great time as always. Human Granny did not venture into the water this time with me. But human Papa and I had a Blast! This time we stayed late and not too many dogs were swimming around with me. It was almost like I had the pool to myself. I was the only Puggle that attended yesterday. We have to get the Puggles to come out more. Well don't forget pups and all others tell your humans about my 'Great Cause' for the Senior Pups and Kitties. It is coming up real fast and we are trying to reach our goal. Hello pups and kitties and humans and everyone else. This is a plea to all my blogger friends and family. I have a BIG favor to ask of you tonight. Could you please take a look at these Senior Pets pictured below (pictures taken of pets in 'Kill Shelters') and then Help me to Help them and find/build them a home and get them SAFE and Sound and Happy. So many Seniors are brought into 'Kill Shelters' and they are the last ones to be considered for adoption (most of the time). This Great Cause I walk for every fall is trying to raise money to build a 'Senior Pet Rescue Home' to make sure they will all have a home even if it takes forever to find them a family. Right now they foster them out and pay for some vet care, hopefully some day enough money will be raise to build a Senior Home for them. Please open your heart and Help me to Help give them a 'Happily Ever After' thanks and bless you! Please remember 'No Donation is too Small' . My Birthday Pawty Adventure #51

We had a Great Adventure today Sunday 8/1/2010! Puggle Parker's human Mommy Amy, (a new friend) hosted my 'Puggle 3rd Birthday Pawty'! It was so much fun! First human Granny and human Papa had to stop over at Lainey & Chloe & Autumn's house to pick up some WONDERFUL goodies to pass out as a take home gift to all the pups that attended. They are the Best Treats I have had since my Pup Cakes from my Birthday last year (human Granny baked the pup cakes for me). Thanks so much Judy A. for all the Great treats and presents too! And she even gave me some extra Special Treat she made just for me. I got to meet my blogger Pup Friends for the first time in person too! Then off to Puggle Parker's home for a run and play around the yard. Some old Fur Friends and some new Fur Friends. It was so much fun! We were running a little late. So sorry Puggle Sandy's human Mommy, who is always right on time and does a Great job organizing all the Puggle Meetups. Marilyn F and Mike F thanks for running our Puggle Meetup Group so well. We still had plenty of time to play with all the Puggles and one Beagle Dolly. It was a Barking Great time! I of course pranced around like the Princess that I am, and did not excert myself. Snicker! Snicker! The humans had a bite to eat at Puggle Sandy's and then home to open gifts and relax. I am so Blessed what a Great day! Here are some pictures for you to Enjoy!

Hi fur friends and humans! It is almost that time again. Me and human Papa and human Granny are getting ready for the 'Mutt Mosley' Young @ Heart Senior Pet Rescue walk around the pond. The event is going to happen on Saturday September 18, 2010, to start at 9:00a.m. in Palatine, IL USA. I have posted my 'First Giving' widget on my page on the right side in the middle of the page. This is a Great Cause and they even came to some Senior Fur Babies rescue that human Granny posted on facebook.com. My Rained Out Birthday Pawty Adventure #50

Well my 'Birthday Pawty' on Saturday (7/24/2010) was rained out. Chicago, IL USA had a downpour and human Granny could not get to the North Side of the city. It had flooded out many roads and closed the closing of some main Expressways. O'man! And it just so happened that late on Sunday night I got very sick. Human Granny said I must of ate something that was very bad. I just kept throwing up many times. Human Granny talked to Puggle Sandy's human Mom and Lainey's & Chole's & Autumn's human Mommy too! They had some Great advice, but human Granny took me to the vet on my Birthday (7/26/2010). I got some meds and a shot and some fluid put on me with a needle. Then that night I got worse and off to the 'Emergency Vet' we went. He gave me another shot and told my human Granny that I would sleep all night which I did and to call my regular vet in the morning. I did not do good with all them needles I guess. I am doing much better today. It was not a good Adventure for my Birthday. But Puggle Sandy's human Mom says we will have the Birthday Pawty this coming Saturday (7/31/2010) and I will still have a Barking Great time with Lainey's & Chloe's & Autumn's human Mommy's Special Treats!

Puggle Play Day at Puggle Sandy's Adventure #49

What a Great Adventure (on 7/17/2010) we had over at Puggle Sandy's house. We found paper wrappers and pennies and a few other hidden items. Human Granny thinks we should get a job with the CSI cuz we can find stuff not noticed by the human eye and so quick too. But she must teach me and Puggle Sandy how to give it up before we eat it. Snicker! Snicker! The humans had Great Food made my Puggle Sandy's human Mom. Then my human Mommy stopped by after her friend's wedding shower. Funny she did not even look wet. BOL! Puggle Sandy and I played tug-of-war and the humans watched the Sox lose. It was a Great Adventure. I sat in my dogie car seat curled up and slept all the way home. Always a Barking Great time at Puggle Sandy's.

'West Loop Dog Meetup Group' Pool Party Adventure #48

Well it was a Barking Great time today Downtown Chicago, IL USA, at the 'West Loop Dog Meetup Group' dog pool party. We got to go early 11:00a.m, cuz I weight less than 35 lbs. Then the bigger pups got to join us at 12:00p.m. I swam some but I was more interested in smelling humans legs and toes. Snicker! Snicker! Human Papa took me down to the deep end and then I swam to human Granny in the shallow end. The humans all had Great Food and a photographer took some Great Pics of my Cute Mug. BOL! Human Granny broke out the BIG sun umbrella for a bit of shade. Miss Diva (just recently over hip surgery) got to join us for a bit. We love the facility at 'Pet Care Plus' in the Downtown area on Lake Street in the West Loop. I also seen a helicopter flying around Trump Towers where they are filming a new movie, on the way to the event. It was hot but not too humid and human Granny did good with her asthma today. The humans had some Great food for lunch and plenty of it. Pop and water was also served. I got some samples of dog food (human Granny has been trying out some new stuff lately), to try from the leaders of this group. What a Great day I am so Blessed!

Officially as of yesterday July 9, 2010 Brindi is Home WooHoo! It has been a long journey to get her home. Many letters and email sent and many tears. But she is home. I can not tell you how Happy I am! Happy *tears* She was taken from her human Mommy on July 24, 2008 and put on death row. But now with the hard work and lots of money and many sleepless nights and trips to court from her human Mommy and the HELP of so many all over the world, she is home safe. With a few restrictions she will live the rest of her life with Francesca. What a Great day!

Hey human Granny where are my Doggles?

Well 'HAPPY 4TH OF JULY' all you pups and kitties and humans and everyone else. Yes I know I am a few days late. But what do I know about calendars. Snicker! Snicker! It was a Great Weekend Adventure. July 3rd human Granny and human Papa took me over to Puggle Sandy's house for a BBQ. We had a fun time and some Great food (well at least the humans had some Great food). Then we had a ride to the 'Cook County Forest Preserve' on Sunday the 4th of July and I got to chase some deer. Later that night we sat out on the patio and watched some neighbors shoot off fireworks. I really do not like the noise that they make. Human Granny held me close so I was not afraid. On Monday my human Mommy can over after camping and visited me. So all in all it was a Great Weekend Adventure. This Saturday is my first pool party (this summer) with the 'West Loop Dog Group' downtown Chicago, IL USA. I can't wait! Take Care and please remember all the animals and creatures suffering from the BP Gulf Oil Spill. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks!

Well another Papa's Day has come and gone. Human Papa loves to just rest in his Big Bed. So after church and lunch (at human Papa's favorite place El Cortez) I went to get a bath and nails trimmed and grinded and teeth cleaned and ears done, human Granny went to get my present for human Papa. I just got him a shirt but human Granny got him a BIG computer monitor for his computer. I think he liked the shirt BEST! Snicker! Snicker!

Well today it is raining most of the day here in Chicago IL USA. I have been laying around all day. Human Granny did play ball with me in the front room. Human Papa says he is going to grill no matter what. Human Granny gave him a umbrella to cover his head. BOL! I have to wear a raincoat and he doesn't, is something wrong with this picture? Snicker! Snicker!

PAWS Walk in the Park II Adventure #44

Hello dogs and humans and everyone else. I have been missing my blogger friends so much. Well I had a Great Adventure on May 23, 2010. Human Granny and human Mommy and human Papa took me to the Suburbs in Tinley Park IL USA for the Second Annual PAWS Walk in the Park. We had to walk around the pond at Centennial Park and boy was it hot. It turned out to be 92 degrees that day. Human Mommy got me my Blessing. I participated in some contest (but did not win) where the judge just did not watch me too much. It was fixed human Granny thinks. But no matter it was a Great cause for the Homeless Pets at the PAWS Shelter to raise money. So I did my part. Had a Barking Great time too! Catch you later pups. Too Many New Adventures to Post Adventure #43

It has been a while I know! Well the new 'Adventures' here are many and far beyond human Granny's ability to post. We have started a new facebook.com page and have dedicated it to the 'Helpless and Homeless' pets all over the world. We have met so many wonderful Rescuers and Animal Angels that we can not tell you all their names. I have missed you my blogger pet friends too! Human Granny cries so much she can not hardly type through the *tears*. We need to help make a difference and be the voice of the poor pets that have none. Both of us have posted, begged, cried, and almost took a trip to help transport some poor pups so they would not be PTS (put to sleep). Please bear with us. This pup could never forget Mr. Puggle or Neigel or Bruschi or Scarlet or Coco or Alice or Lola or Preston or Lainey and Chole and Autumn or Chase or Eduardo or any of you wonderful pups and your humans. Hello pups and humans and everyone else! It is a Beautiful Day here in Chicago IL USA. It might be a little cold for some but us Chi-Town Dogs are use to this weather. I had a Meetup scheduled today but I also wanted to check out the Tinley Park IL USA '2010 PAWS Easter Egg Hunt'. Human Granny did not want to drive deeper into the city by the lake (Lake Michigan that is) so we piled in the car and headed to the Suburbs. It was fun and I tried to grab as many eggs as I could Snicker! Snicker! I got many prizes and had a few treats out of the eggs before the Easter Bunny helpers could see if they had a prize in them. I made out like a bandit. And my tummy was full of treats before we even got home. So Happy Easter to all the Internet Fur Friends.

Now my little problem did not seem so much. But I will share it with you anyway. But Please keep this pup Piglet in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks!

This was a Adventure of a terrible kind. Human Papa was taking me out for my last walk before he retired to bed for the night. He did not see earlier that someone must of left their beer bottles in the grass where some kids maybe have gotten to them and broke them all over the sidewalk. Human Granny was on the computer and forgot to tell human Papa about the glass all over the sidewalk a few buildings down. O'great! Well I am sure you already guessed what happened. Human Papa walked me right through the glass before he noticed it. Some of the glass got stuck in my right front paw. I did not cry and human Granny got most of it out with human Papa's help. But one piece was just stuck way down and human Granny was making it bleed more and maybe pushing it down deeper. OMD! Well by the time human Granny gave up it was around 10:40 p.m. or so. The next thing I knew human Papa was caring me to the car to the 'Emergency Vet'. Human Granny had to drive with her bad back (she has been having some shots in her spine lately). So the vet said he could not see it at first. But when he took me to the back to take a closer look he seen it. Then the vet took a needle and plucked it right out. The vet tech said it hit him right in the forehead. So after a few days on some meds and off to my vet Dr. Sue a few days later all is well. My paw is Great now!
What a Adventure it was. No matter their are so many more pups much worse off than me. Whimper!

Urgent Help Needed ASAP

I had to remove the picture human Granny was crying every time she came to my blog...

This is Piglet the Pit Bull. His irresponsible owner gave him some ham bones on Sunday night (3/21/2010) and now the dog is blocked and in much pain. He was taken to the vet Monday (3/22/2010) but the owner told the vet that their was no money to do this expensive surgery the vet told her he needed. Some of the Great dog people (most of them Rescuers~thanks Pit Kill-Vick) on FB have gotten in touch with this owner and her vet and will be picking up the dog for emergency surgery tomorrow morning (3/25/2010). If you could please a donation is being taken for this pup's surgery. Thanks for your big hearts! Here is the 'Chip' set up for Piglet's surgery donations. Smaller donation are good too!

~3/25/2010 Update on Piglet (thanks Pit Kill-Vick).....
Piglet went in for surgery this morning-no word yet. The "guess ta mated" cost was around $1,500.00 which is less than expected. THE CHIP SHOWS zero--this is because I just started the paypal yesterday and it's not yet active, but there is money in the fund, judging my the emails, right around $145.00. A friend will... loan me $200 if absolutely necessary. If you see anyone asking about this, please let them know.
~3/25/2010 Last Update on Piglet.....
My heart pains me to know this poor beautiful creature of God's had to suffer his last few days of life on this earth. What goes through a person's mind when they are faced with this situation I just don't know. The GUILT would kill me. Pit Kill-Vick I can never tell you thanks enough. And to all the many concerned FB and Blogger animal lovers Bless you for caring. Many Blessings and much Love to all for the tears and temper flair ups and for the donations for this poor pup. I did not know this person but was lead here by Faith through this precious dog. This has moved me to start a new chapter on FB and Ariel's Blog and in my life. I have my first little 'Rescued Grandpuppy' from a kill Shelter of my life and I am so Happy I have her. She is the love of my life (after my hubby and daughters and my kitties that were rescued from a alley at 4 weeks old 13 years ago that is). It is Wonderful to know that in this Cruel World their are many who still care. I pray each and everyday for the Lord to not let my heart grow cold to the people of this world. God help the ignorant for they know not what they do. Most say that animals have no soul I disagree. I know and love a all loving, all giving, and all trusting God that know my Heaven would not be complete without my beloved pets with me for eternity. In my Heaven I am promised all joy and I would have no joy if I can not see the many pets that have passed on and pets like this wonderful PitBull Piglet. Peace and Blessings!

Safe Toys Please! Adventure #40

It has been a long week and last Sunday (3/14/2010) I got my wish of a Meetup (small dogs only). But it was a disaster. Yet in the end it turned out Great! Human Papa and human Granny took me to one of my Meetups and we were their with the only other Puggle my Sweet Best friend Puggle Sandy. We were playing and the leader of the Group notices a tennis ball that looked a little small and removed it from the floor. She was trying to keep us safe. Some of us Puggles tend to eat toys. At least Puggle Sandy does. After around a hour of play, human Granny noticed that Puggle Sandy had a small ball in her mouth. She (Puggle Sandy) was chewing it like she was eating it. Human Granny tried to get it and Puggle Sandy must of thought she (human Granny) was playing with her. It had a squeaker in it and it was collapsing when she was chewing on it, but it would come back to normal size when Puggle Sandy opened her mouth a little. Human Granny told Puggle Sandy's human Mom to get it. But Puggle Sandy was not having it. Human Granny noticed that it looked a little to big to pass or to swallow. Well Puggle Sandy's Daddy tried and to get it and Puggle Sandy swallowed it right down. She was rushed to the Emergency Vet and had Emergency Sugery that same hour. Puggle Sandy's stomach was already swelling. I was so scared and sad for my Puggle friend. The vet did the surgery to remove the toy ball from Puggle Sandy's stomach in record time. He did say that because of her having a no-gag reflex that her life was spared. If the air went back in the ball in her (Puggle Sandy's) throat she would of chocked on the ball. So I guess it was a Great thing. She is recuperating and doing well. The ball came from PetCo and is not very good for a dog toy. I think these Manufacturers need to rethink some of these products they are selling! Terrible thing to put us dogs at risk. So the rules have changed at the Small Dog 'Off Leash Meetup'. No toys allowed. The organizer of the Meetup Group will be supplying toys that are safe for all dogs to play with. It is a Good thing! What a Adventure it was!

This was me yesterday. I was sitting in human Papa's chair just looking down at whatever this black thing was that looked a little like me. I was fascinated by the shape and when I barked at it, it did nothing. Human Granny did not seem to even pay attention to it. I think I had seen it before. I see it sometimes in the hallway durning the middle of the day. Sometimes I see it at night in the computer room on the walls. Now I am a smart doggy but this puzzles me to no end. I think you need some kind of light to see it. I know a movie about a boy who was looking for his. (Human Granny loves that Disney Flick.) Can you guess what it was?

Valentines Weekend Adventure #38

Yes it was a good long Valentines Weekend for me. I had a few Great Adventures. Human Granny has really been down in her back but human Papa had to work Saturday and human Mommy was too busy...so human Granny got me ready in the car and off to the 'West Loop Dog Meetup' we went. I had a Barking Great time and human Granny had a good lunch. I played and ran around and got to see my friend Puggle Sandy. The day was finished off at the Pooch Hotel with some special Valentine treats. What a Great Adventure I had. Then later off to get a bath and my nails trimmed. I had more special treats for dogs (made out of chocolate for dogs) on Sunday too. To top off the weekend I went to visit my Special Needs Internet doggy friend's blog Scarlet, and got to see a picture of her going for a walk in her Wheelchair. I am so Blessed! Cookies ~or~ Milk Bones? Adventure #37

A new year full of New Adventures. Well on Saturday (1/09/2009) my human Papa went out and most of the time he doesn't bring me anything when he returns. I sniff through all the bags and boxes (if he has any boxes). Just checking if their is something for me. Human Granny always brings me something home when she goes out. I stick my head in each and every bag and even get a lick of condensation off the milk jug if he puts it in my reach. He tell me: "Nothing for you Ariel!" Well this past Saturday he made up for all the other times. WOW! a BIG box of cookies he came in with in his hands! Human Papa says they are Milk Bones. What do I know. I can not read. At least not yet. Snicker! Snicker! I just know they smell good and taste even better! Well here is a picture. O.k. Puggles and Pups and everyone else what do you think? BOL!Licks and Wags, Ariel ♥

What is a Puggle? by Puggle Ariel ♥

Well let me start off by saying, "One of the BEST pets ever!" I am a Puggle. A 'Designer Dog' is one of our titles. I had a Pug Dad dog and a Beagle Mom dog. They got together and here I am a Puggle. I was 1 of 10 puppies. Dog Mom only had 8 nipples and the two largest puppies were taken from the dog Mom and hand raised. I ended up at the 'Animal Welfare' in Chicago Ridge IL USA. Human Granny saw me first and even before I was put in a cage in the back with all the other animals she told my human Mommy to see me and they snagged me up. I was 8 weeks old and the cutest pup she had seen in a long time.
~We are very smart and easy to train. (I know a lot of tricks.) We do listen except when our 'prey drive' takes over, so it is always safe to keep us contained by a fence or on a sturdy leash. We tend to have our noses to the ground, and always smelling everywhere looking for tidbits (it's Natural for a Beagle to do this) and will eat things that are not good for us. So be on the lookout please! We can be food aggressive so we need to be taught to wait and easy when you give us treats by hand. We have a lot of energy and love to go outdoors. A dog coat or a heavy dog sweater should be worn if you live in a cold climate area. We can be kept in apartments but with a lot of outside activity. You must be watchful with my food. Beagles are know to 'barrel out' and then it is very hard to get that weight off. We tend to be healthy dogs. Not too much grooming is needed. We have short coats. Be watchful we have longer noses than the Pug dog but we still can not I repeat "CAN NOT!!!" be put in a 'cage dryer' (I hate to even say the word) for any length of time EVER! They need to be BANNED FOREVER for all dogs! Short nosed dog breeds can not breath in this type of situation. Terrible things will happen just read some of my older blog posts. It isn't just the heat that is a problem we (Puggles) can not breath in this environment. We have what they call a 'Reverse Sneeze' that will scare you but you just have to Stay Calm, and to hold our nose gently and rub our throat and calm us down until it passes (at least that is what human Granny does). We make Great pets and love humans. We love to Snuggle under the covers and will make a great foot warmer for you on cold nights. We also love our owners and will Snuggle right next to you on the couch or the bed or where ever you are. We just want to be loved!

Happy New Year 2010 pups and everyone! Human Granny is a day late and always a dollar short with my post. Snicker! Snicker! Hope everyone had a Wonderful New Years Day. I did watching human Granny making all that food. She did drop a few carrot pieces while she was cleaning them onto the floor and I grabbed them. I was playing with her snow globe that plays 'My Kind of Town Chicago Is' BOL! It is cold out here in Chicago so Please think of the Homeless pets and remember always to make adoption the only option for your next pet. Christmas sure makes a Puggle tired....♥

Bark to all you pups and humans and everyone else; It was a great Christmas this year for me. I was waiting and looking for Santa Paws and his Reindeer, but no one came until I woke up the next morning. At least I think I heard him leaving my home? Santa Paws is so quiet. I made out like a bandit this year. A new Raincoat that fits, a new snowman BoBo, lots of treats, a new treat toy to play with (I already figured out how to get the treats Snicker! Snicker!) and so much stuff you can not imagine. I was a good pup this year. Human Granny was asked what was her favorite present this year was and she says it was that my Internet doggy friend Scarlet got her 'Wheel Chair' she so wanted and needs. She was so happy about it that she cried for a long time and that was the BEST present ever. Blessings to all you pups and humans and everyone else. Have a Wonderful New Year 2010!

Hi pups and everyone else. Well human Granny has been slacking about doing my blog. She has gotten into some facebook.com stuff. But I am going to keep her in check from now on. Snicker! Snicker! Well human Papa went to TX to visit his human parents so he missed going to see Santa Paws with me this year. Human Granny took me to get a bath and all cleaned up the day before. As you can see I was anxious to see Santa Paws. I sat nice and did not Bark! at Santa Paws. I just wanted to lick his face. BOL! Hope I was a good enough doggy so he brings me lots of presents this year. I will not even bark at Santa Paws at the door. Now about the cookies I am not too sure I can keep my paws off of them. Snicker! Snicker! Have a 'Barking Great Giftmas I mean Christmas' and a Merry one too!

Hi to all the pups and everyone, I had a 'Barking Great Adventure' today (Sat. Nov 14, 2009). The Puggle Meetup Group has not met up too much lately (weather problems and we can't do Sundays with church and all). So Puggle Sandy and her human Mommy and human Daddy called us up and ask all of us to come over for a 'Play Day'. What a Great time I had! We drove way over to the Northwest Side and had a lot of fun. I got to play off the leash with Puggle Sandy (her human Mommy runs our Puggle Meetup Group here in Chicago IL USA). It was such a beautiful day today here in Chi-Town too! We had a really Barking Great time! Thanks Puggle Sandy!

Veterans' Day at the Memory Garden Adventure #33

Well here I am all ready and I even got my Red, White & Blue bandanna on and the flags that me and human Granny picked up for the graves and off to the 'Memory Garden' we went. When she pulled in at the back gate a BIG 'No Dogs Allowed' sign with a dog on it with a red line through it was posted. So while she visited the grave sites I had to wait in the truck. Can you believe it? They did not want me to pay my respects to my human Granny's Dad and Brother for serving in the Navy & Army. It was a beautiful day and I had never been to the 'Memory Garden' with her. I guess next time I will have to stay home. But I had a nice ride in the truck. I love to ride in the truck everywhere. Well first of all I want to say this is a sad day and please keep my Snuggle Puggle Internet friend Eduardo in your thoughts and prayers. He is going through a rough time right now. Halloween was a Great Adventure! We started off a little early on Thursday (10/29/09) night and went to the PAWS fund raiser in Tinley Park IL. It poured rain but we did get a good picture in my costume. On Halloween we drove downtown to the 'Nightmare on Randolph St.' Doggy Halloween Party. We had a lot of room with 3 rooms for different size doggies. I was in the Big Dog area. Human Granny dressed in her spider attire and human Papa was a scary thing. See here he is....BOL! He did not scare me. I was in my Ladybug costume. Their were lots of dogs to play with. But like always I was just keeping everyone in line. Human Granny says I take after her. Snicker, Snicker! It was fun to see all my 'West Loop' doggy friends. Many were all dressed up. They were doing 'Doggy Psychic' readings too. Human Granny said I did not need one. She knows what I am thinking most of the time (so she thinks). Human Papa got more attention than me on the drive down, with the get up he had on....BOL! Well here are a few pictures from the Adventure. Enjoy!

The other pups were trying to take my hat off. So later human Granny just gave up and took it off.....BOL! I was Barking: "Let that pup up!"

My First Black Eye Adventure #31

Today was quite a Adventure already and I haven't even gone to meet Lainey yet! Human Granny was sitting at her computer and I was relaxing on the Love Seat (like I do a lot of my days) looking out the patio window. I must of dozed off and then it happened. I fell off the Love Seat and hit human Granny's plant stand before I hit the floor. Human Granny came running in and ask me what happened. I was shaking and I was so scared. She checked me over real good and did not scold me for getting dirt and water all over the carpet. Then she seen it....my EYE! I have this red mark on it and now it is swollen. After she put some cold ice on it she gave me lots of treats. Well I guess it was bound to happen. Part of ' Growing up'. It does not look too bad human Papa said. Well off to the 'PAWS' Pet Party in Mokena IL and have some fun. Catch you later pups and everyone else.

Human Granny taught me to do this trick a short while ago. Human Papa did the filming recently. She (human Granny) decided that I should be able to play dead for some strange reason. Then she tells me I am a 'Good Girl' for playing dead. I keep wondering when this will come in handy. But I will do it to humor her. A Day Out in the County! 10/10/2009 Adventure #27

We had a Great Adventure yesterday (10/10/09) with the Chicagoland Puggle Meetup Group at the Wood Dale Dog Park. Human Papa was making us very late and we missed Puggle Lainey and her humans. The weather was very cold but the Puggles and other pups did not mind much. Human Granny did not either, she likes the cold weather Snicker! Snicker! We had a Great lunch which Puggle Sandy's human Mommy and human Daddy, organized and even prepared some great things for our humans. Others in the Group brought some Great stuff too. I could smell it but did not get to taste any. Puggle Taffy and Pug Panini were trying to get over the fence to their human Mommy and human Daddy. Puggle Sandy just whinnied a lot. I was Barking most of the time. Barking is what I do Best! BOL! We had a little Puggle pup named Ryder that came and joined in the fun and a few cute Beagles one was named Buddy. He (Buddy) ran into human Granny and almost knocked her over....BOL! She was too busy chatting with Puggle Sandy's human Mommy and did not hear my "Look Out" Bark! We played and the humans visited and the humans ate lots of Great food. A Barking Great time was had by all! Catch you later pups and humans and everyone else, unless you catch me first.

Dog "Tail" Gate Party Adventure #26

This past Saturday (10/03/2009) human Granny and human Papa and human Mommy and human Auntie & her human boyfriend (they came from CA) took me to a "Tail" Gate Party at the Pooch Hotel Downtown Chicago IL USA. We were the first to arrive and I took control of the Big Dog area. I was keeping all the pups in check with my barking when they got a little to excited while playing.

That is me with the Bears T-shirt on. Puggle Sandy is over to the left getting petted. We had lots of running around room off the lease and PLENTY of great food for the humans. They did have Goody Bags for the pups to take home and a raffle for dog food and a Great human Bears Jersey prize raffled off. Human Granny got me a Bears T-Shirt with #53 Urlacher on it. I was Barking: "Play Ball" to all the dogs. Snicker, Snicker!

What a Great Adventure I had today....♥
Human Granny and human Papa and I went to the Fund Raiser for 'Mutt Mosey' out in Palatine IL USA. Walk to raise money. We started out early and drove a long way. It was great for me because I got to have my head out the window as we drove their. Snicker! Snicker! After we got to the place we had to sign in and human Granny got a T-shirt. We had to wait for some of the other dogs and humans and then we were off. Walking to raise money for a 'Senior Dog Shelter'. Lots of Great dogs of all ages we met and some Great humans too. I made out like a bandit with all the treats in my bag and a new bandanna. A Barking Great time was had by all! What a caring group! They love older homeless pets. The "MOD" Doggy Pizza Party Adventure #24

The last bash of Summer 2009 ended with the "MOD" Doggy Pizza Party....♥ It was so much fun! A big yard to run and play and a sprinkler for the dogs to run through. Not me I did not want to get wet. Snicker! Snicker! It was full of humans too. About 50 humans attended. I love humans. I did make a few doggy friends too. Here is my picture that Tim took of me....

You can see how much fun I had. I have a big smile on my face. We ran around and watched the humans eat pizza. Human Granny would not let me get a taste. Labor Day 2009 was a Great Adventure! Human Papa and human Granny took me on a picnic at the Cook County Forest Preserves. We took the small Weber gill and had ribs and hamburgers and hot dogs. We spent the whole day their and I got a few hot dogs that human Granny dropped on the ground. Snicker! Snicker! I was waiting patiently and after we finished cooking and eating we got to take a long walk in the forest. I seen lots of birds and some squirrels.

This past Saturday (8/29/09) was the last Doggy Pool Party of Summer 2009. It was a Great Adventure! It was a little cool out so I did not do too much swimming. Human Granny did not want to get too wet cuz she might get sick and she has to take care of me. As you can see my ears were flapping in the cool breeze. Chicago is the Windy City and the wind was blowing hard this day. Lots of doggies but no Puggles. Their was a professional photographer at this party and she took some great pics. Wood Dale Dog Park Meet-Up.......Adventure #20

Today was one of the Chicagoland Puggle Meet-Ups. We had a Great time. Human Granny and human Papa and me drove out to Wood Dale IL USA to the Wood Dale Dog Park. We paired up with another Meet-Up Group from the Chicagoland Area but human Granny did not know which other one it was. Human Granny brought my Bubble Machine that I got from my Birthday and no one, not even me wanted to chase bubbles. BOL! I was NOT on my Best Behavior as you can see cuz I was walking all over the table. Puggle Sandy taught me that one today. Human Granny was not happy. Snickers! Some people (not from our groups) came and had a Doggy Birthday Party. Lots of activity. From our Chicagoland Meet-Up groups we meet a cute Sheltie name Scampy and a cute Wynniamer (how ever you spell it) doggy pup and a Golden Retriever dog that was real friendly. Also a dog named Snoopy that human Granny was playing with. A Barking Great time was had by all. Except my little friend Puggle Macey got stung by a bee and so did Puggle Sandy's human Daddy. Awe! Poor Macey we did not know about the sting until a long time cuz she was such a good Puggle dog. Hope she is doing O.k. Puggle Blessings to her. We were the last ones to leave and another late comer came to the Dog Park named Puggle Ella. Cute little Puggle. Enjoy the video human Papa is doing Great with the camera these days. This weekend is my human Mommy's Bridal Shower. So human Auntie is coming in from California USA to Chicago IL USA to host it. Human Granny has had me looking out the window all day. Well this is the new thing the Pedi Paws and human Granny is into it these days. Trying to get me use to it. Snickers! My nail grow very fast and when I play a little rough sometimes with human Granny I scratch her. So she had my human Mommy to pick up this Pedi Paws machine that I am not having anything to do with as you can see. The directions on the Pedi Paws says to introduce it to me with treats. Well it was o.k. as long as the treats were coming but then when she decided to put it on the floor for me to try and get familiar with....O'no you don't human Granny! Well needless to say I don't think I will be letting her (human Granny) use this anytime soon on my nails. Catch you later pups I am going to attack this machine again.....Snickers!

Yes I guess it is official I am turning into a Couch Potato. Human Granny had the air on today and I get cold. Sometimes I get cold easy. So I just jumped up on the couch by human Granny and got my blanket and covered myself up with it. But I always leave my head out a little to see the TV. Yes I think this is turning into a Great Adventure everyday. At least until human Granny goes back to work. Couch Potato Ariel, it does have a ring to it. I always loved the love seat but I'm starting to like the couch better. More room for me and human Granny to relax. The Animal Planet channel is Great but I like the Court TV shows and human Granny always is watching the Food Network. I love that show because then it moves her to cook. Bark! Bark! I turned two years old yesterday! Human Papa took me to my favorite restaurant.......

and human Granny had them bring me some liver. I love it! ♥ Bark! Bark! Then we went to PETsMART to see about getting me a life jacket for this coming Saturday to go to the big beach. We did get some Doggles!

and a few snacks for me. After that it was home and human Granny made some PupCakes (thanks to Puggle Preston's Mommy for the recipe). Human Granny sang Happy Birthday to me and I did not want to eat my PupCake by that silly Birthday hat. No way. I knocked it off the table and went to town eating my PupCake.

Human Granny got me a Bubble Machine for when we Meetup with the Puggle Group maybe at Puggle Sandy's house. Howells! I can not wait! I slept very well after all the excitement of the past two days. I Learned to Swim! Adventure #16

Howell's! what a great time I had at the Pet Care Plus K-9 Oasis, 2nd Doggy Pool Party yesterday (Saturday 7/25/09). I learn to swim and it was great! Bark! Bark! My human Papa took me into the water and said: "Come to me Ariel!" while human Granny and human Mommy was having a bite to eat at the eating area that overlooks the big dogie pool. I just went and swam like I was born doing it. No life jacket or anything. Barking Great time we all had! This time human Mommy and her finance came. Thanks to my friend Sandy Puggle, and her human Mommy and human Dad from the Chicagoland Puggle Group. I can not wait to get back in the water again. I got a little water in my ear but it was worth it. Barking Great Time!
O' and by-the-way today is my 2nd Birthday. Going to finish celebrating and will post lots more tomorrow.

The Kitchen is a everyday Adventure! Adventure #15

Yes this is a Everyday Adventure for me. I love the kitchen. Human Granny is always cooking or preparing something to cook. I just hang out and get in her way waiting for that one little Tidbit to fall on the floor. And sometimes it gets a little crowded in here too. When human Papa or human Mommy tries to get in my way. The nerve of them. Bark! From morning until night time I must say that I love to sit and watch human Granny when she is in here. I only get a taste if it is safe for doggies and on my Special diet. I so love to eat and could do it most of my day. Sometimes when human Granny is using the oven she says: "Back Ariel HOT!" I do not want to take a chance so I always listen and step back and wait. She always watches out for me.
Maybe she will make one of my favorite things tonight. Yes that would be Great! Have a Great week.

Human Granny is sosososo sad today. She found out about a Puggle named Bailey that she use to go and watch her videos on YouTube.com had passed away. She went to *tears* wait for her human Mommy Melissa and her human Daddy Tom at Rainbow Bridge......

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

When I first came to live with human Granny she use to go to YouTube.com and watch short videos of little Bailey. What a sad day for us today. *tears*
Thanks Mr. Puggle for giving us the info on this human Granny is so MAD that she is going to try and do her BEST to do something about these Dog Driers. One time when human Granny took me to the PETCO to get groomed and when she came back (which she never usually does, mostly she waits for me to get done) she heard me Barking and Crying and she ask them what was going on. They opened the door to where I was very easy, to try and not let her seen in. She saw me in a cage with this big black machine blowing air on me. It was so strong that my ears were flapping and my mouth was too. She promised me never again would she leave me like that. She also remembered a time I got groomed at PETsMART when I was a small pup too and they would not let her see where they had me and told her to come back and get me in 2 or so hours. She told them: "I do not want her in that cage for a long time!" At that time she did not know what was going on. The last times I went to PETCO to get groomed (2/09) they told her they did have time to dry me. Human Granny told them I could air dry and that they had me in back long enough. Human Granny always wondered why I hate the blow drier so much. Now she knows. Well now she knows. Never again will she get me groomed by no one but her and human Papa. Terrible what happened to Bailey and all the other puppies that she read about. *tears*
Human Granny is taking up the cause to get them Driers Banded from all Groomers. Please check out this site and thanks! ♥

I'm Very Bored Adventure #14

Well human Granny decided to start a blog and now she spends a lot of computer time doing it. I try to get her attention but no matter how I Whimper or Snicker or even Chase her beloved kitties she still has to be typing on the computer on her blog. What can be more important than me? I can only get her attention when I go to the front door cuz I have to go Potty. Bark! Not a very fun Adventure being bored. Human Papa is home today and playing with me. So it is a little better today.

Happy 4th of July 2009 Weekend! Adventure #13

The 4th of July came and went and I am Happy about it. Bark! That it went that is. Human Granny and human Papa took me on a long ride to the airport (7/3/09) to pick up human Auntie. Human Auntie came in from California to see me (and human Granny too). Human Auntie wanted to shop at the local supermarket for some organic foods for her to eat. I just wanted to go to the "Taste of Chicago" and eat. Snicker! Snicker! Human Mommy was moving to her new place far away from me on this day. She left me to stay with human Granny. Cuz no doggies are allowed where she moved. I will miss her coming to walk me every morning. Whimper.... I will have to get human Granny up to make sure I get my first early morning walk in (human Granny likes to sleep in). We had a Great barbecue on the patio. We just relaxed and talked and human Auntie taught me some tricks where I have to work for my treats. I loved it! The next day the humans went to the fest and l stayed home. My little ears do not like the fireworks and someone had to chase human Granny's kittens around the house. Human Granny did not stay out too long after the fireworks cuz she knew I would be upset. Church and another barbecue on July 5th 2009 and then to the airport again. I stayed home with human Papa cuz he was not feeling too well. Human Auntie had a Great pic made with me before she went to the airport. I love her. Bark! Bark!
This morning (7/6/09) I looked all over for human Auntie and when human Granny took me out I went right to my human Mommy's door to smell for her but she was not their. I hope I can visit her real soon. What a Adventure it was this 4th of July weekend. All in all I did have a Great one.

My First Doggy Pool Party! Adventure #12

Today human Granny and human Papa took me to have a Great Adventure with the West Loop Dog Meet-Up Group that paired up with The Chicagoland Puggle Meet-Up Group! A Doggy Pool Party at K9 Oasis at Pet Care Plus in Downtown Chicago IL USA! We all three had a Great time. I got to meet a nice Puggle named Sandy and her humans that runs my Puggle Group and a few other nice doggies. I was kinda scared with all the big doggies running around. I stayed right by human Granny and human Papa. They both had lunch and human Granny had little treats in her Doggy Pouch Bag for me. I shared with a few doggies. Snicker! Snicker! I went in the Puppy Pool with human Papa and human Granny close by, but it was kinda scary to go in the Big Dog Pool. Human Papa helped me and did not throw me in or make me go very far. I did not do much swimming. Maybe next time. My human Granny brought my tennis ball and played with the other doggies. I was too busy watching all the canine activity. All and all it was a fun time. Human Granny has a few pics for me to share with all you Doggy Friends and human friends too. Hope to go again real soon. I had a Barking Great time!

Me and human Papa in the Puppy Pool!

This is what I did when human Granny went to eat.....looked all over for her. Yes that is me to the right looking for my human Granny. Human Papa was chatting with other male humans to the left.

This is the Big Dog Pool. Human Papa is with me on the left next to the wall. He was very gentle showing me how to swim.

This is what I learned to play on from a really cute Big English Bull Dog. He showed me how to run up and down the ramps. But no I did not take the stairs. Bark!

Well it was a quiet Adventure on human Papa's Father's Day 2009. After human Papa came home from Church he just wanted a Big Mocha Coolatta from Dunkin Donuts. Which he got. Then we put the air conditioner on high and had a nice rest. We did what he likes to do best....NAP! It was a Great Adventure for a lazy day.......He will be spending his money gift later. Maybe he will buy me something? Bark! Happy Belated Father's day to all the human Fathers of all my Doggy Friends. Hope you enjoyed your day as much as I did!

Graduation Day! Adventure #10

Graduation day was quite a Adventure. I actually did very well during school. Beginner Education was my class name. I finished with flying colors. I was still a little Puggle Pup. My human Granny and human Mommy and human Papa was at all my classes. Human Granny missed one and human Mommy had to take me. Actually I learned to sit and wait and to come puppy when called. I also learned to walk nice on the leash. Treats were very plentiful in them days. I made some puppy friends but sadly I haven't seen them since Graduation Day 2/21/08. Maybe someday they will read about this Adventure and we can meet-up again and have a play day. I would love that. Bark!

Human Granny is not happy about all the squirrels that keep coming on the patio and digging in her flowers. I have been trying to keep guard of the patio, but this patio window keeps me from getting at them. I keep this little one close to me so he does not cause any havoc on the place. He seems to be very still and quiet. I know how to keep him in check as you can see. Well back to my guard duty. Hope you have a Great weekend! Catch you later unless you catch me first.

Tribute To Kari Winters RIP 2/28/1951 to 5/18-19/2009

Your soft voice and gentle hands I knew.

I felt the love no matter how much my pain,

No one even ever knew my name.

When I was cold you made me warm,

You were their threw all the storms.

Never once to complain or boast,

My human friend I love you the most.
Mentored many to be like the same,

Taught them their was so much to gain.

Now only may you have rest,

And in the end the ones that know you best.

We'll all be together now and forever made whole,

Human Auntie is a Great person that works for the Siamese Cat Rescue in CA and the Puggle Rescue in CA and the German Shepard Rescue in CA. She started a lot of her Volunteer Work because of this wonderful Sweet Soul Kari Winters (RIP). My human Auntie found out about a lady in Southern CA that had many animals that needed some attention while she (the lady) was recovering from some surgery. Human Auntie being the Great animal lover that she is went over to walk some dogs and pet some kittens and give them all some love.
Kari Winters (RIP), got her (my human Auntie) started with her first foster kittens. She mentored her in a very special way. Kari Winters was a Special person that endured much pain but never complained or boasted about anything she was going threw or accomplished. Now human Auntie gives a lot of her time to Help Animals. Bringing a little love to some animals lives like spending hours on the phone interviewing new people for potential adoptions and going to the local shelter to spend some time with the strays. Please follow my human Auntie's example if you have some time to spare. I have a Shelter Finder posted on my page and it will Help you find a local Shelter in your area. They are always grateful and appreciate all the wonderful people that come to spend some very much needed time with the animals. Thanks for your Support!

Rain, Rain, Go Away already! Adventure #8

This has been one weird year (2008 /2009) for Chicago IL USA weather. We had the longest winter. Not too too bad of a winter just a very long one. I thought Spring would never come. Now April 2009 is over and all we have had is Rain, Rain, Rain! So I really do so love water and the sprinkler in the summer and my bath when human Granny splashes the water up in my face. But RAIN O'no I do not like RAIN! It makes me walk on my tippie toes and it is so cold. When I come in I run all over the house shaking and rubbing my face in the carpet and on the couch and human Granny's bed. Just not one of my favorite things to do is a walk in the rain.

Hello friends I have a new adventure to tell you about, here goes:
Human Granny usually has a banana a day for her potassium level to stay up. I LOVE bananas and it is one of the human foods human Granny gives me in moderation. I am on a all Protein diet these days to keep my weight down. Well she comes to me the other day and ask me, "Ariel where did Granny's naner go?" I am still not sure what she was talking about. What makes her think I took it? Hmmm! I wonder?.......Lick, Ariel ♥

Peek-a-Boo! Adventure #6

Hi everyone, here is the new everyday Adventure. Human Papa and human Granny got these new desk chairs for each other for Christmas 2008 and I have learned to jump up on one. The only thing is they swing around and sometimes I can not get out of it. I only like human Papa's cuz it has a pillow in the seat that I can lay my head down and get cozy in. Sometimes human Granny goes into the other rooms to do stuff and I am stuck in the chair. I cry and then I have to bark sometimes to get her attention to turn the chair around so I can get myself out. Bark! It is really a funny Adventure each and everyday. But I do love to cuddle in the chair.

NBA Championship Games 2009 Adventure #5

Well we had been watching the Chicago Bulls play basketball for 6 games and human Papa and I were hopeful. But in the end we lost the final game. Each time I was so excited that we might just beat the Boston Celtics. In the end the Celtics pulled it out. At least the games did give us alot of excitement with all the overtime play. It was sure a long Adventure. Now at least I don't have to wait until halftime to go out for a nite walk and play with my Beagle friend Rino who lives across the street. Awww! for the Chicago Bulls. We did do Great with all the new players. Maybe next year! Boy does this sound familiar...(Chicago Cubs).

What a St. Patty's Day 2009 Adventure it was......
Well today human Granny was very busy. First we went out for a long walk cuz it was really nice out here in Chicago. I was going to go for a ride but human Granny figured out that she did not have her debit card to go and get corn beef and cabbage. So I had to get in my dogie car seat and all buckled up and then she figured out that she did not have it. So it was back out and into the house till human Papa got home from work. Then they drove all over looking for a piece of corned beef to cook it was very late. They got home from leaving me a long time and all I got was this head band. Well Happy St. Patty's Day All!

Well we had a Great Christmas 2007. We went visiting and human Granny connected with some friend from her High School. This pic was made when we were having breakfast. Human Granny took me with cuz I was still little and slept alot and people could hold me and keep me safe from the big doggies at her High School friend's house. We had a snow storm the weekend before with blizzard conditions. I hate the snow and it makes my little paws freeze. Human Granny's Baby Girls (the kitties) had to stay home. I was excited about that. We were out late and I did not get much time to tear my Santa toys up until the next day. It was a a real Adventure to get to run all over someone else's home for a change.

Human Granny had taken me the the Cook County Forest Preserves and I got very dirty playing and running all around. So she decided to get me a bath. I actually was very good. It was human Granny that kept knocking stuff all over. She used my Puppy Shampoo that made me smell like baby powder. I for sure did not like the blow drier. I do not stand still one minute to this day for anyone to use the blow drier on me. ♥
